First time RV owner

My wife and I purchased a 22' Salem FSX Platinum 179DBKX. Will be taking it out for the first time the 2nd week of May. I live in Michigan, so it will either rain or snow the whole time, regardless we are excited to go. Will be using our free pass at Outdoor Adventures Resorts this summer, and would love t eet some other campers. We have a 5yr old and a 3 month old, so kids are great. Hope to see you in the campground. Attachment 272307Attachment 272308Attachment 272309Attachment 272310Attachment 272311Attachment 272312Click image for larger version

It would be a good plan to set it up somewhere and test everything! Driveway sleepout.

Because, these new TV’s are sort of complicated. There is a LOT to learn.

Sometimes turning on the furnace can take hours! Take tools. Got that square drive screwdriver?

Have fun. Take plenty of food.

Ask questions here.

Congrats! like Tomkatb says, Camp Driveway is a great first experience. Take it easy on yourself (and make sure you know where the nearest Walmart is!) Welcome to RV life!

Forgot!

Know where the nearest Walmart and hardware store is near the campground.

You will need something. We had a blown fuse. Needed bungi cords. Glue and clamps.

Some lessons are learned the hard way.
