First time RV owners

Greetings, all!

My wife and I are from Lacey, Washington and are taking our first steps into the RV world after about 30 years of tent camping. We just purchased this 2017 Viking 17BH and would love to get to know folks with the same or similar rig. We plan to take it for a few nights in October before storing for the winter.

We look forward to getting to know folks on this site!

I'm sure you will enjoy your new trailer... BUT in order to make the transition from tenting to trailering, I suggest at least one night and day camping in the driveway and trying out all of the systems in the camper before venturing out... this will help eliminate a surprise in the campground.

Thanks! We're actually going to a campground 5 miles away from our house for that exact reason. Close enough that if anything goes wrong, we're practically home.
