Post First time RVer

Greetings from Colorado. Awaiting in a month or so, of a delivery of a Rockwood Geo Pro 19FD. I'm retired and an amateur photographer planning to roam the West in search of the beauty and history that is the American West. For the most part I will be boon docking; I've been a camper all my life.

Most of the time it will be me and my dog Sawyer, a German Short Hair Pointer mix, who loves to travel. I will be hauling my trailer with a Toyota 4Runner, which many say may not be up to the task. We'll give it a go and see if I will need to change my tow vehicle.

There has been a lot to learn about owning and operating a RV and I have been attempting to learn what I can from books, YouTube, forums such as this one, and a couple of Facebook groups. Looking forward to expanding my knowledge.

Take the time to get educated about electricity! Very important. You have time to get ready.

UPS made a path to my door when we bought our first rv.

My son has that truck. It is a tough booger. Not a normal SUV.

Get out there! Nice life! Really, nice.
