first timer and frustrated!

Trying to get winterized system flushed out for the season. This is the first
time ever I've done this and the instruction manual might aswell be written in Martian because without pictures nothing makes sense to me. I've located
the city water on the outside of trailer and holding tank spot. Do you just pour the bleach in using a funnel?? And where exactly do u instal the waterPur filter??......help please!

I am assuming that your water lines are all full of antifreeze correct?

First thing I would do would be open up the fresh water holding tank and drain it completely.

Next would be to hookup city water and flush out the lines.

Next would be to fill the fresh tank one time and drain.
Next would be to fill the fresh tank again and add a cup of bleach and using that water running your pump run the faucets at each outlet until you smell the bleach. Let it set at least 4 hours or overnight.

Drain your fresh tank. Fill again and running the pump again run all faucets until the bleach smell is gone or reduced.

If bleach smell is not gone drain the fresh tank again, refill and reflush your faucets using the same steps.

Should be good to go after that.

The water filter is different on every trailer. They are usually located near the city water hookup. Make sure you don't have it installed until after you are done flushing your system. What do you have?

In addition to what aintgotnun said, once your lines are clear you need to make sure you turn the water heater bypass valve into the correct position to fill your hot water tank.

Different trailers have the filter hidden in different locations.
Some might have 1 valve for water heater bypass and some
might have as many as 3.
If you don't tell us your make, and model, we can't be specific
in what to tell you to do!!

Thanx for all your help. My trailer is a Surveyor Lite '07.
To drain the holding tank is that pulling the lever on the
grey water? Or am I way off.?

Way off The spade handles are for your grey and black water holding tanks. The plumbing for these will be black pipes underneath your trailer on the driver's side.

As I'm not familier with your trailer I can't tell you exactly where the drain for your fresh tank is but I can offer some hints. On my old trailer there was a semi-clear tube hanging down with a plastic nut on it that I had to remove to drain the fresh tank. On my current trailer there is a blue 1/2" plastic tube with a 1/4 turn ball valve that is used to drain the fresh tank. So have a look see for a tube hanging straight down underneath your trailer with either a valve or a plastic nut on it. You may also have similar low-point drains for your plumbing for the galley and bathroom sinks.
