First travel trailer

We just bought our first travel trailer 1 week ago! We are so excited- it’s a Puma 28BHSS. Excited to experience and learn lots.

Congrats! There are many knowledgable folks here who can help you with answers to seemingly puzzling questions. Take the time to explore your RV and get to know it's "secrets" before hitting the road, and you should have enjoyable experiences.

New Travel Trailer

Congrats on the new travel trailer. Big boys and big boy toys.

Spend some time going over and reading every manual. If you didn't receive these, you may be able to obtain them from the manufacturer. Read them!

Spend your first weekend in the driveway. Learn the systems, what does what, and how to enjoy what you've purchased. Then the next trip to a local State Park which may or may not have services. Learn how to exist without inconvenience without water, shore power, TV, cable, sewer, etc.

Also during the week, find a church parking lot that is empty. Practice backing the trailer into a parking space. After a few times, you'll look like a pro at the campgrounds.

Welcome to the forum! We purchased our first camper last week ago and got it home Monday!

We are stoked to get into it, figure it out, and get out to see a few things!
