Fiver Newbies :)

We’re new to a 5th wheel but have been camping for decades. Our ‘rig’ progression was Tent camping, Tent camping with small children, Pop up camping with growing children, Travel Trailer camping with children & teenagers, 5th wheel camping without children (they’re grown)… Being new to 5th wheel we are wondering ‘why didn’t we get 5th wheel sooner?”… it pulls SO nice. We have the fiver now because we were going to be homeless soon- (we’re building a house and lease was up on rental and covid hit and delays happened, and, and, and,) and always wanted a fiver so we were ‘fast forwarded’ into getting one; one that will be our ‘home’ for 2 months. We bought used (hopefully it has lots of good years left) a Sabre 29RL. Hope to see and learn a lot about our Forest River Sabre here on this forum. Maybe we’ll meet you in the campgrounds!

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the forum! You're in good company because living in an rv while a home is being built is pretty common. Hope your house gets completed on time and you can do some traveling in the 5er.

As a couple who is on our third fifth wheel - welcome!! You're going to love it, and yes...the pulling is far superior to any travel trailer.
