Ford 6.8L V10 Normal Temp

Howdy, anyone know what temp. the thermostat is on a 2016 E350SD Cab Chassis Class C. On our last trip, the outside temps where 90 to 95 and the temp. on my Scan Gauge was reading 197 to 204. Is a 7 degree range normal?

Ford 6.8L V10 Normal Temp

My 5.4L is on 195 so yours is probably the same. When towing I run 198 to 206 normally. The fan kicks into high gear at about 215 which has happened at couple of times. It is loud.

Sounds normal to me. Heck, my Wrangler was 206 yesterday while cruising an interstate (100 degs. outside).

Temp. ?

Boy you guys are up early today reading forum post. Thanks for the replies. I am first time Ford owner and liking it so far. My van which I think has a 190 deg. thermostat would normally run 191 to 195 towing in 90 deg. outside temps. Good to know the v10 runs a little warmer.
