Fried stabalizer jack motor

First camping trip with brand new camper and the motor for the rear jacks is fried.. Anyone know if forest river will send out a new motor
Or what's the procedure?

Did you make sure that it is not a blown fuse? Its an easy fix.

Yes motor is fried and burnt can see it..

My first step then would be to contact your dealer to get it replaced. Did you buy from a local dealer? If not you can deal directly with FR. If it is a new unit within the first year it should be covered without an issue.

Not local dealer, but it's brand new just got it used it memorial weekend.. How do I contact forest river?

That is really odd. You didn't try to lift the camper with it I hope?
As soon as you hear resistance in the motor, you are supposed to let off the switch.

No did not try to lift camper. Jacks were down in driveway put them up went to camp ground try to put back ones down and there was nothing . No noise no movement nothing. Pulled motor and u can see its fried burnt melted. I am hoping they will send another one to me and I can put it in don't want to be tied up in service for months.

In the mean time you can manually crank them up and down at least.
