Hi there. My name is Susan and I have been RVing with my family for over 20 years. We started with a homemade truck camper and then had a couple of older motor homes. We missed having a vehicle when traveling so we went back to a truck camper before buying our first 5th wheel in 2007. We enjoyed it for over a decade before we ended up with water damage (it seeped in through the screw holes on the water gutters as the putty behind had dried out). We took a season off at the beginning of the pandemic and then bought our current trailer the fall of 2020, which is a Salem Hemisphere 26BHHL. We don’t pull it around and have it parked at an RV Association at Pigeon Lake in Alberta, where we are members.

We love the layout as well, and all the storage. Just having a sewer smell issue in the trailer right now so I’m trying to figure that out. The smell is coming from the space under the bunks, so I’m going to try opening it up today and see if there is maybe a vent hose leaking or if I can see anything else.

We had a similar issue, and the dealer found the vent wasn't quite high enough, so they extended it. There is still a bit of an odor in the back storage compartment below the bunks, but not too bad most days. It is just in that compartment and area.
