From Palm Coast FL., Soon to be Full Timer's

I'm glad I found this forum. My wife and I took a five week cross country RV tip 10 years ago. We were blown away and had such a great time. We said someday we will go full time. We had a Keystone tail gator. Well it looks like it's going to happen. We had a toy hauler on our cross country trip but no slides. After the trip I bought a new Raptor 3712 triple slide. Not impressed at all. We are now looking at a new 425 amp XLR, 43 ft. loaded. I'm pulling the rig with a 2004 Dodge 3500 crew cab diesel, automatic. I installed a juice with attitude to give me some more power. Believe me it works. Ready to load the Harley and get out of Dodge.
I just wanted to say hello. Now I have to start cleaning out the house and sell it. It cannot come fast enough. My wife and I had enough of Florida, too hot in the summer. I hope to someday hook up with a few of you out there. You never know when we will cross paths.

Welcome from north central Florida! We too want to full time for a few years after we retire, but it won't be for a number of years. We dealt with the heat this weekend by camping at Wekiwa Springs State Park. The shady sites were great. Canoeing and swimming in the springs kept us cool as well. The hotest parts are set up and hook up.
