Full time noobs starting out from Texas

We just sold our home last Wednesday, bought a used 2018 Coachmen Pursuit 32WC on Thursday and have 2 more weeks to prep the RV before our leaseback expires and we hit the road to go full time.

We have no RV experience but have been watching YouTube videos from several full timers over the past couple of years to help prepare us for some of the things to expect. We bought the RV from a private party roughly 150mi away so we knocked off the training wheels pretty quick as we drove the RV home at night, then discovered we had to prune a bunch of trees while scouring the roof of the RV with shears until we could finally back the RV onto our driveway, ha!

Some upgrades already included by the previous owner:
  • Sumo Springs
  • Steering Stabilizer
  • Front/Rear Anti-Sway Bars
  • Washer/Dryer
  • Blue Ox Towing Package
  • M&G auxiliary air brake system

We look forward to seeing what other mods that people have done to see what we can do to improve the quality of our life on the road!

Very exciting! We fulltimed for 5 years as a family of 4 and absolutely loved it. I've helped a lot of newbies figure out RVing and fulltiming, so feel free to reach out if I can help you in any way.
