G'Day from Downunder
G'Day:

My name is Scott and I live in Australia (Oz), but I'm originally from Florida.
My wife and I are planning to purchase a travel trailer and a pickup truck next year (2018) to do some touring around the US. We plan to spend about 3 months of the year there for the next 5-6 years.
We hope that we can meet up with some of you while we're there.

Welcome! Which areas are you thinking about touring next summer--East, West, North, South?

If West, PM me and I'll send you some links that may give you some camping and sightseeing ideas. I spent 45 years working in every state west of the Mississippi River plus Alaska. And in the last 5 years my wife and I have now RVed in every one but Louisiana, including Alaska. We can let you know some of our favorite roads, scenic areas, and campgrounds once you have picked out a general route.

I have the opposite story - I am an Aussie (born in Brisbane as it happens) who lives and is retired in Michigan and winters at a Habitat build in Dade City Florida.
If you are in Michigan Apr - Sept or Florida Nov - Mch get in touch and we’ll try to catch up.
