Granbury, Tx...checkin' in

I've wanted to start rving from 5yrs before I retired, in 2008. Finally got a fixer-upper with a new refer, hot water heater and commode. It had a 20' gouge along the side where it scrapped something. I've mostly fixed that, re-coated the rubber roof, installed 16" wheels and tires, checked the brakes and bearings, bought a pair of T105's and installed an upgraded converter/charger and am starting to redo the interior to suit us. I hope to be out there by next spring at the latest. I know the chaparral isn't the best 5th wheel out there, but, money being largely directed to dentists and doctors limits us.
I'm a retired postal electronics tech with 12 yrs naval service. My wife has been "retired" for the past 25 years.
I wonder if my unit is strong enough to carry a m/c on a lift mounted on the rear? I'm also thinking about adding a 50 gal water tank under the bed...set up to manually transfer water, as needed. Well, hi to y'all and thanks for the welcome.
