Greenie from Spring, TX

We just bought our first TT (and RV for that matter) last week: 2020 Forest River Vibe 26BH. I must say it is much more (in size and price) than we initially planned on but my wife fell in love at first sight...I would love to hear experiences, good and bad, that other Vibe owners have had so far, but my initial impressions so far are that this rig is among the best in quality at this price point.

We already took our maiden voyage this last weekend and it was awesome; capped by a visit from a juvenile bald eagle in one of the neighboring sites. I did run into one big question, as my 26BH has two gray tanks that empty through the same valve and another “Aux” line which I believe is dedicated to the kitchen sink: but are the two gray tanks for the bathroom connected, or do they fill completely separate (I.e. one tank for sink and the other for shower)? I found that one of our gray tanks was full after only one round of showers ( family of 6)...is that normal?

Again, I am brand new to the (RV) game so I really look forward to learning from the many seasoned RVers on here and thanks in advance.

Welcome from New Jersey, After 6 showers its probably normal for that tank to be full.Moving forward it would be fine to leave that grey valve open while showering. Black valve you want closed until you need to empty the waste tank.

Hi and welcome to FRF!

You'll be better off if you ask your Vibe-specific questions, in the Vibe.

Welcome from across the way (up the Eastex Freeway in Roman Forest). Especially with a family of six, you will really have to learn how to take "spit" showers. Even then, with that many, the grey tanks will probably fill up fast.

Anyway, welcome again, and hope to see you down the road.

Congratulations on your purchase! I hope you enjoy many years of making great family memories while using it.

I don’t have a Vibe, but one comment I will make, just in case you do not already know is to have everyone wet down, turnoff the shower, soap up, including washing hair, and then turning the water back on to rinse off. This preserves water and is otherwise known as a Navy shower.
