Greetings from a snowy Cochrane, Alberta, Canada

Hi folks,

The dear wife and I are new to this forum and the Forest River brand, having just upgraded to a 2013 Rockwood 8315BSS from a 2008 Jayco 25LGT Featherlite.

So far we've only managed two nights in the new trailer before I had to winterize it because temperatures are already dipping well below freezing as well as a couple of centimeters of snow.

Not to wish my life away but we are certainly looking forward to next spring when we can get out and enjoy the new toy. In the meantime I'll continue to read these forums for any helpful nuggets of information that will enhance our experience with the trailer.

Who knows, if you're in Montana, Washington or Idaho way may even meet up at some point in the future. We're easy to identify; Alberta plates but very English accents.

2013 Rockwood 8315BSS
2007 Ford Expedition Max
Retired Met Police and proud of it.

And I can relate. We're winterizing the camper this weekend and already looking forward to spring, too.

Congrats on your new RV! According to the news the other night we are expected to have another mild winter. Just try to think ahead to your next trip and all the fun that will go with it.
