Welcome fellow Minne-soh-tan! It looks like your TV can tow up to 4500lbs with tow package. With the SP-224T coming in at 3650, and from what I can find elsewhere, the 234T is about 3800 dry. I would just watch what you pack and see what the scales say when you are all loaded up for a trip and how it goes down the road. Did you get a good weight distribution hitch?

Welcome

We just purchased our Windjammer 3008W . We are located 40 airmiles north of Minnesota across from Quetico Provincial Park, adjacent to boundary Waters.

Welcome from another Minnesotan. I picked up my Mini Lite 2109S on 6/14/12. I was camping my way home and stayed a couple of nights at Jay Cooke State Park. I was there the morning of the flood and had to be evacuated without being able to take the new camper. I returned home with only the keys. My DW was wondering what I really did for the week. The park people were great and I was able to drive back to Duluth 3 days later and hook up my camper. Interesting first trip. Enjoy your new pasttime.

let me guess, the dealer said you'd have no problems towing it!!!

it won't be long before you find out that it can't handle it.
the actual factory weight will be around 4300lbs.(seeing that the fantasy "dry" weight is 3836lbs.) that's without water, cargo, propane and battery.
your Outlook has a 4500lbs. tow capacity, IF it has the factory tow package and only a 150lb. driver in it.

so, before you add anything to the trailer or anything/anyone to the Outlook, you have only about 200lbs. between the two.
so if you have one 200lbs. passenger, you now can't take any cargo, water, propane nor battery.

your 234T is about the same length and weight of my 23SS. it had a similar "dry" weight and it weighed 4471lbs. from the factory with the normal "options". i tow with a v-8 truck and i would never tow it with a v-6 smaller SUV!!!

i hate to rain on your parade but you've got wayyy too much trailer for that vehicle.
