Greetings from Ontario Canada!

Hello all! Just thought I'd take a moment to introduce myself. I've recently purchased a Shamrock 233S in hopes of introducing my DW, DD(7)and DS(2) to the magic of camping. I camped a lot when I was a kid and I'm happy to have reintroduced it into my life.

So far we've camped three times this summer for a total of 8 nights. The 233s has been fairly good. I'm still sorting out a couple leak issues. One of the tent ends is refusing to be seasoned so I had to used a bit of seam grip on it, and I have a bunk seal that occasionally lets in a bit of water in the rain. I did have to replace the toilet after the first trip, but Dometic was outstanding in supporting their product.

So, so far so good. My kids have discovered the joy in fishing and chasing firedogs. I couldn't ask for anything more.

I've learned a lot from these forums already, and I'm hoping I can be a valuable member eventually.

Thanks all!

Welcome from the eastern GTA! Congrats on the new Shamrock. I hope your family creates as many happy memories camping as you did when you were young.

Welcome to the forums! Sorry but I don't have any experience with your unit so I'm not able to offer any advice. You might get try posting your questions in the forum relating to Shamrock where it can get more attention.

Welcome from Newfoundland / Labrador. I too camped as a kid from tenting to 14 ft TT to a HUGE 17 footer. But that was the late 60's. It's great to rekindle childhood memories as I near retirement. Have fun but as you found out you will need to become handy to fix issues with a trailer.
