Welcome to the forum. You should list what type of camper you have and then post the appropriate question sub thread pertaining to your camper. Later RJD

My first question is we are traveling a long distance with the travel trailer. Let's say we're going to Arizona and we stopped the first night in Arkansas. Do we unhook the travel trailer which is a pull behind just to sleep or do you leave everything hooked up and just put the slide outs out so you can rest and get up early and leave. I had a motorhome in years past this wasn't a problem but I was just curious how everybody else handled it.

I usually disconnect, but there have been times when I have not. If getting in late and leaving early I never saw the reason to disconnect.

Thank you.. this has become a small dilemma...lol... our travel trailer has three slide outs and they must come out before we can sleep so I was just curious how everybody else handles it.
