Hello

My name is Tony and I just purchased a new salem travel trailer. I am a rookie camper. This is my first camper. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

Congratulations on your new Salem travel trailer, Tony.

The best advice I can give is to spend a lot of time reading this forum. There is a ton of knowledge here. Use the search function and don’t be shy about asking questions. Here is a link to a thread you’ll want to read:

I also found a few YouTube channels helpful: RVgeeks, Love Your RV, RV with Tito, and Long Long Honeymoon.

One last thing ... use checklists to help remind you of what to take and what to do upon arrival and before departure when camping. I use a free app called RV Checklist that you can customize as you get some experience.
