Hi everyone! Newbie here, about to purchase a new Surveyor Legend 19BHLE. Wondering if anyone’s experienced strong odors from these units? I’m highly chemically sensitive and concerned about glues and chemicals containing formaldehyde’s during the build. Anyone have any negative experience with strong odors, burning eyes/throat, shortness of breath??

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your up coming purchase of a Surveyor Legend 19BHLE. You will find most all new campers have the strong odors due to new materials an such. It wears off after getting used a few time. Sitting in hot sun when new will make the present of strong odors. Make sure to do a good PDI when you god to pick up your new unit. Later RJD

Welcome from Wisconsin. Congrats and enjoy your new Surveyor Legend 19BHLE. When you get it home open it up and let it air out for several days. Make sure you open all the cabinet and basement/garage doors too. If necessary you can try some activated charcoal to absorb odors. Run your furnace to burn off the manufacturing oils.
