Hello

Hello all! Just getting started here. Just a few trips away from finishing up our 2nd year in a 2010 Surveyor.

Welcome! Nice looking surveyor you got there!
We just bought a '07 surveyor earlier in the summer, haven't had a chance to camp in it yet due to my traveling, but going on the shakedown cruise next weekend.
Where all have y'all been camping in it?
Any good/bad experiences with the surveyor?
Happy camping!

The only bad experience was at Kerr Lake, NC. The lot was listed as level. We had to raise the rear of the trailer 4 inches (all of our leveling plates) and then dig a 6" deep "V" for the tongue to sit in. The tongue jack in it's lowest (highest, depending on perspective) position. Other than that, love the Surveyor. Considering an upgrade to a 2014 with bunks and outdoor kitchen. Try roughing it a bit.

Welcome to the forums! I do understand about how a site or campground is described only to find out it's not the same. I was expecting a park like setting and got desert landscaping. I was so disappointed - it was nothing like pictures I saw online (not the CG website). It sounds like I got off easy since I didnt' need to dig a 6" hole.

Happy camping!
