Hello All

Just brought a 08 233t surveyor home to the driveway. Its my first travel trailer so joining this forum seemed like a wise move. First thing I noticed is I have user/install manuals for many of the appliances but I don't have any manuals from Forest River for the unit as a whole. Should I have gotten something from the dealer?

Here's a link to the Forest River Manual. Its somewhat generic but does have a lot of safety information.

If you have specific questions, you can find a lot more in our own FAQ subforum or in the Surveyor subforum as well as throughout the rest of Forest Rivers Forum. Trailers even with different floorplans are manufactured very similarly so what works for one can work for another when it comes to appliances and so on.

Or, just post a question. All Q's are good Q's and we can (usually) answer quickly.

Hello, and WELCOME to the forums. Glad to have you. Don't sweat not having a manual for the trailer. Very generic. Hope you enjoy your stay, and like Triguy said, lot of good info already on here. If you need to now something, might try our search function, the one in the green bar, just below and left of your username. If that doesn't work, ask away.

Welcome to FRF!

the 233T is a hybrid, so you should check out the Expandables/Hybrid section here. there's a Surveyor sub-section there also.

like others said, only a generic owner's manual that talks about basic RV systems. not even type of RV-specific, let alone brand or model-specific.
