It could be. It only takes a few min to setup/take down. I’ll see if I have any pics. I found the idea on Pinterest.

Here’s the link I found. Not sure if it’s the link I used, I’ve slept since then, but basically I cut opposing 45’s at each end of a 37” 2x4 and then put an eyebolt at about 15” from one end.

Thank you. I’ve used forums to gather info, ask for help and give help wherever I can for all the vehicles I’ve owned. Definitely great resources.

Thanks for the welcome.
I was a bomber crew chief. Started out on the BUFFS, then to the B-2, then to the B-1 and back to the B-2. I still have the honor of working on the B-2 for NG.

Welcome to the forum from Montana. I am a retired Navy Seabee. We have had 4 5ers and won't ever most likely go back to a tt or motorhome. We've done both. We're weekend campers and pull a second trailer behind our 5th wheel camper to haul our Polaris RZR on. Had a toy hauler 5er but the side by side wouldn't fit in it so since we were towing the RZR behind the hauler anyway figured we'd get a different one that had more living space. We went a little different direction as far as what we use to pull the camper with. I put a flat bed on our dually so no more tailgate to have to deal with. We still have to make sure the camper is up high enough but that's really a no brainer for us. I've been a truck driver most of my life so cranking up the landing gear and getting the 5th wheel plate high enough is just kind of a normal thing to do for me. Enjoy your new 5er. It's the only way to go for us.

We come thru Jeff City quite a bit on our way to Columbia. We also come to Jeff City to Sams or just to eat, we like Madison’s. My wife’s cousin used to be the chef there. She also has family in Hermann, Columbia and LOA.
