Talking Hello from a newbie

We recently had our beloved "PUP" (2004 RW 2280) "put down" by a neighbor doing at least 60mph. Looked like a bomb had gone off in it. We (self & DW) bought a new Wildwood 26bhxl 2 weeks ago from RV-Wholesalers. Love the rig. We originally went to look at a Rockwood 2306 MINILITE. Bt DW "fell in love" w the 26bhxl. We tow w a 2007 Silverado ext cab, short bed w the big 5.3 iron block v8. Does great. Of course, I will be doing some 'mods' shortly: BU lights to start. I'll keep you posted. The fun started 3 days after we brought it home, when our son, a former Marine and CDL trucker came down to put it in the parking spot in the front yard. He had to back it across a drive w about a 10 deg slope. She went in the house.

Watch out for those "professional" truck drivers. When we used to rent RVs it was always the truck drivers that damaged our rigs, LOL. Just kidding ya. Enjoy the new rig and keep it away from the neighbors. Oh, and welcome to the forums
