Hello from Austin

Just want to say “hello” to all my RV’er friends on the forum here. We just sold our Freedom Express Blast 17BLSE and really loved it. We eventually discovered we needed a little bit more space so put down a deposit on a Grey Wolf 25RRTBL. Hoping our two adventure motorcycles will fit inside better. Looking to gather some insight from you fine folks and maybe even see some of you on the open road.

🤠

Lots of cool places in Texas to go. Right now... or after then next hurricane flash the coast in Port A and Corpus Christi is great from now until early November for fishing off the beach. If you are into bikes probably the hill country gives you more options, and maybe the Guadalupe river area would be nice and give you floats and bike trips.

I'm an Austin guy too. About to go coastal for most of September and October, as my deal is fishing off the beaches (and occasionally jetty). Lots of good info here on these forums. They have been a great resource for decision making, without experience in this arena.

Happy and safe travels

Thanks for rolling out the welcome mat my friends. When researching, we wanted to stay within the limits of “half ton towable” but still have decent capacity to carry two motorcycles plus necessities. Looked at several toy haulers, but they were either too tight on space or too heavy for our tow vehicle,(F-150 diesel). We’ll be using a Reese Stedi-Flex WDH and possibly installing Firestone airbag helper springs if we encounter too much sag in the rear. First destination will be Asheville, NC to see those beautiful Smokey and Blue Ridge Mountains. Thanks again my friends.
