We are planning to cross the US next year to Niagara Falls. Where is a good place to stop in ID?

I had no idea there was a bad place to stop in Idaho...

What route would you take?

I took I-84 to I-5 into Vancouver, BC.

Coeur d'Alene is a fine area to spend some time in.

It has been awhile since I was there last So I can not suggest a CG.
