Hello from coastal NC!
Hello group!
We are now a proud owner of a 2014 Forest River Rockwood Signature Light 5th wheel. It is our first 5th wheel and replaced our 2005 24QRB Coachmen Capri bumper pull. I purchased it from a private seller that kept it immaculate. I tow it with my 2018 Ram 2500 6.4 Hemi Laramie with 4.10 gearing and factory Mopar hitch. The first upgrade I made before towing it 4 hours to Mt. Airy NC, was a new set of Goodyear E rated trailer tires! Just returned and extremely happy!
We are learning about our camper as we go. Our 19 year old daughter is excited to be able to go with us when she can. Everything seems to work, but I have notices some little things... for some reason the belly heater fuse is pulled (top position) and there is a switch on the bottom right of the rear of the camper (behind bumper) I have no clue of what it does.
I will be having to replace the LED strip awning lights as they are shot, but luckily, the rest seems to be in great condition.
It is nice having something with a spare room, slides, and dual A/C. Any of y'all with similar campers, I'll be happy to take any advice you have!
