Hello From Ft. Campbell

Young family in Ft. Campbell looking to foray into RVing/camping. My husband has started looking at various used RVs. Our biggest problem is lack of funds so we are looking for something that is well cared for and well maintained but can be older. My biggest concern is fuel consumption both for driving and propane needs. Other than that really looking forward to future experiences.

Welcome. You will find alot of good people and info here. The one thing I would recommend, if you are not familiar with campers is to have an independent repair shop or a friend look at it with you. Again welcome an good luck. You will make many memories. And thanks for your service.

you might want to post what type of RV you're looking at.

also, since this is a Forest River-brand owners forum, asking questions about non-FR RVs may not get many answers.

if you decide on a non-FR product, there are often owners forums for that brand, also.

Thanks for the welcome guys. We are just looking to educate ourselves prior to making a purchase which will be in the long term future at this point. We have many major changes to anticipate in the next year but I figured I'd start the knowledge ball rolling!
