Hello from Gabriola Is. BC

We are leaving Wednesday to pick up our new V-Lite 26WRB in Des Moines IA. Looking forward to the trip and finally getting the trailer. I have been following a number of threads on the forum and picked up some good info. We intend to do some camping in South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana & Washington state on the way back to BC. Hopefully we will run into some of you on our tip back.

To see the variety of climate in Washington you need to go to Moon River RV in Richland in the southeast corner of Washington. Many are shocked at the weather there with mid May to late August temps in the 90s. Lots to do from fishing to boating/rafting, as well as visiting some of the literally hundreds of small wineries and breweries in the area. Guided tours are abundant.
Up in the Seattle area are a variety of attractions from guided tours of Seattles underground city to a nice zoo. The Museum of Flight, the Seattle Aquarium the Space Needle. The Jimmi Hendrix Experience is of interest for any music lover.
You can get a City Pass that has tickets and coupons for most of these attractions at a considerable discount. Enjoy

Btw for a coastal spot go to LaPush on the ocean side of the Olympic Peninsula several nice parks on or near the beach. Up in that area reservations are a must and need to be made early.
