Hello from Hope, B.C.
Recently bought a 2007 Palomino Thoroughbred 21 TT, in good shape, for its age. Towing with a recently acquired 2005 Dodge Dakota Quad, also in good shape, with less than 100,000 km or 62,000 miles on it.
Between the two, close to max. wt. of 10,000 lbs., so mileage is only about 11mpg so far, way less than our previous rig, Dakota + 5ver @ 15 mpg.
My wife and I are retired seniors, have rv'd for umpteen years, from Alaska to San Diego, including most Cdn provinces and many States.
Our rig seems to be much smaller than most I have seen on the Forum so far, but I hope that gives you a different perspective on RV-ing.
Initial problems with this rig have been resolved, and we are now looking fwd to enjoying many more miles or kilometers, exploring parts of our province we have not yet visited.
Current concern is the many forest fires here in B.C., which has forced the closure of many provincial campsites, both public and private, and several towns have had to evacuate, or been put on notice to do so, which of course is also a concern elsewhere in the West, Calif. in particular, which might limit the amount of camping/RVing for many people, this year.
