Hello from Huntsville, TX!

First post! First time owner of a 2018 Wildwood FSX 200rk! Ready to get out and explore. How many of you joined the Thousand Trails Club? I have a complimentary membership trial and wanted to know if it is worth renewing?

Welcome from just across the way! And congratulations on the new rig. Looks great. That is an interesting door. Thousand Trails is a long story. If you get into it, and decide you want out, it can be very difficult. If you use it a lot, it could be well worth it. But if you are only a "weekender" (like me), you will probably not get your money's worth. Evaluate it very carefully before you decide.

Good luck, and hope to see you down the road.

Howdy from just up the road in Madisonville!

Dont know anything about thousand trails, but you have a great campground not far from you at Wolf Creek Park. Less than 20 per day and full hook ups. Great park for a "shakedown cruise".

Welcome to the board.

We also had gotten a free year of thousand trails when we purchased our camper. I used it once in that year. And looking at where their campgrounds are located, they just don't have campgrounds where we wanted to go.
So no, we did not renew.

You need to look at where they have campgrounds, would you even use them, try a couple out during the free period to see if you like them, and then decide if you want to renew.

Wolf Creek is awesome. We haven't been there in while, and I keep telling myself to go. The best spots there are the waterfront. They're back-in, but they are so awesome.

Thanks for the info! I’ve looked and while there are multiple sites here in Texas pickings start to get slim outside of Texas.
