Hello from Iowa

hey everybody. I Just got a 2021 Salem Cruise Light 273qbxl. About a month ago. I had it out for 2 weeks on the first trip. It sat in storage for a week and now I have it out for a week long excursion. Lots of rain this week and highs in the upper 40s the past 2 days. I am happy to report that my land yacht is water tight, and the Furrion Fireplace works very well!!! However. I also found out that there is no heat vent in the master bedroom.. On my earlier trip it was super hot and I found the 13,500btu AC to be lacking. Definitely going to a 15,000 btu AC before next Summer. Other than these 2 things we really enjoy this camper!

Welcome from central Iowa. You are a trooper, we passed on camping at Lake Red Rock this week due to the crummy weather. Safe travels and enjoy your new TT

Welcome from central Iowa. We're heading out this weekend, Ledges, weather be damned. We have a Rockwood 2612 with a single 15k but air, in full sun during the hottest part of the day it runs constantly but keeps up.
Enjoy your camper.

In the meantime, you might want to get a portable fan to help move the ac around and make that room a bit cooler. We've found that a fan not only makes it feel a bit cooler, it also helps keep the air a bit 'fresher'.
Congratulations on your new rig and welcome to the forum.

We were at Ledges a couple weeks ago. One of our favorites.

were are at lake Anita this week. Think we've gotten the brunt of the rain. Also, we have 3 fans that do make a difference. Our favorite spot at Red Rock is Howell Station. And our go to for no muss no fuss is Marion County Park in Knoxville. It's only 30 minutes from our storage in Indianola and has Wi-Fi etc...

We were at Howell Station about a month ago in our previous camper. It's one of our favorite spots!
