Hello From Kansas

Newbies from east central Kansas. We purchased our 2013 Surveyor SV305 last year. Have only been able to use it a handful of times so far. Hoping to get more use out of it in the next few months. We've been reading and learning lots on the forums!

Welcome lots of good information on this forum, we are in SE KS, but because we are in process of moving 4 miles out in the country next month or two, not getting much camping in this year.

Hi quiltingcamper! I'm guessing by the user name that you quilt? I am a quilter. In fact, one of my favorite fabric stores is in Olathe! I live right outside Johnson county in Ottawa.

Welcome, we are just a few miles apart. Pomona is my favorite campground in the area. Lots to do and provides a challenging frisbee golf course.

Dvigna - I love Pomona and go there most weekends. In fact, we were just there for a week over the 4th. We love to stay in Wacundah on the state side. As soon as our camper is repaired (water line broke) we'll be back out there!

We like the wolf creek area on the federal side. It seems to be easier to access the water from there.

Welcome to the forum. We are from Northeast Kansas currently have a 2013 Salem hemisphere 346 QBud. Have stayed at Clinton, Perry,Pomona, Melvern, Council Grove, Wilson lake, Milford. We love them all but the best spot haves been Wilson lake.

We stayed a week this summer at Fall River. The views were spectacular, but it was out in the middle of no where. Except for a bait shop/restaurant, the closest town was 14 miles away.
