Hello from Manitoba

Purchased our Grey Wolf toy hauler in 2018 with the intentions of traveling to warmer climates in the winter and bring our H-D Electra Glide Ultra Classic along to deal with my PMS (parked motorcycle syndrome). My wife and I both recently retired, she in Jan 2017 and myself in Jan 2018.
In the past we've had a 16' Camper and a tent trailer when our girls were younger. They're all grown and we both were looking to head south and get a break from the cold and white junk.
In Feb 2018 we took a drive to Arizona and New Mexico to check things out. We liked what we saw and then the research and pros and cons of toy hauler vs motels and cargo trailering the bike.
Found the Grey Wolf 22RR and liked what we saw along with determining it was 2000 lbs less than the total towing capacity of our truck (when fully loaded).
After our maiden voyage to Arizona and the performance in the mountains, we're re-evaluating the truck.

Welcome from SoCal!

Generally, one runs out of payload before towing capacity. There is an untold number of threads here on the subjects of towing capacity and payload and hitches. Great reading for those blustery, winter nights that are not fit for man or beast.
