Smile Hello from Massachusetts

We just bought a new rockwood mini light 2509s. It will be coming in May. New to RVing and looking for any tips and advice for our maiden voyage in May. Nothing is too basic for us. Thanks all

Greetings from just south of you (East Granby, CT)! We also ordered a 2509s. It is also our first camper. No idea when ours will arrive but I hope early May as we have a trip planned for Memorial Day! Quick question: What made you go with the 2509s? Just curious...

Welcome from Wisconsin and congrats on your Rockwood 2509s. Make sure you do a thorough PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) of everything before you sign any paperwork or hand over a check. There is a PDI checklist under the Library tab above, scroll down to most popular files and print it out to take with you.

Best advice I can give you for your maiden voyage is do it someplace close. Spend less time driving to a destination and more time enjoying yourselves. If possible spend a night at 'Camp Driveway' just to get used to things. Lots of friendly, knowledgeable and helpful people here to assist you with any questions.

We plan on traveling with the TT so wanted something not to big, we won't be camping in it for extended periods. The quality of the mini lite seemed very good compared to some others we looked at and we liked the layout. Also liked many of the standard options with it. Bigger propane tanks. Outdoor kitchen etc. Hopefully we choose wisely. 😀

Ours has a rear bunkhouse which serves well as a kiddie / doggie sleeping area.
