Hello from Massachusetts

We recently placed an order for a new Rockwood Mini Lite 2509s and are eagerly awaiting delivery. My wife and 7 year old daughter canít wait for adventures in our new TT!
We are not new to camping. Erica and I started camping when we were dating with a small 4 person dome tent. We got married and a year and a half later our family grew. We knew we would have to upgrade to a much larger tent for our growing family and accommodate all the stuff you need for a little one. Which we did. That lasted a couple years until we were camping at Lake George NY where it torrentially rained for 4 straight days. We literally had a river flowing through or campsite and under our tent! That was enough of that, time to upgrade. We bought a Rockwood Freedom pop-up. It was like heaven compared to a tent on the ground. We have had the pop-up for 3 years now and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The only complaint I had was that setup took forever and it always seemed to rain on the day we were leaving. Which meant I would have to setup again when we got home to dry everything out.
A couple weeks ago Erica decided we should look at campers. We made a plan to spend a whole weekend visiting all the dealerships within 100 miles. At the second dealer we visited we saw the 2509s and fell in love. Everything about it suited our needs. We continued looking at other TTs just to be sure, but nothing came close.
Whenever I buy something I tend to join forums and watch countless videos to learn everything possible about it. I like to hear other peopleís experiences, what they like, what they have problems with and how they fix those inevitable problems.
I look forward to my experience on this forum. Thanks for having me!!

Congrats fellow 2509S owner. We just took delivery of ours and can’t wait to take it out for the first time when the snow melts.
