hello from michigan

just picked up a 2022 wildwood 27rk we have owned several used campers this is our first new one and we are very excited. we primarily boondock camp on a seasonal site with no shore power on the AuSable river in Oscoda mi. staying on this site has forced me to learn a lot about solar, inverters, and batteries this TT will be the third one that i will be wiring. so, i thought i would get on here and hopefully talk to others along the way.

Welcome from SW Florida. Lots of threads on Solar Power/Panels. My buddy goes off the grid a lot. He got 2 (100wt) panels. just enough to run fan, frig and tv. I take it that in Mi you really don't use ac a lot.

Welcome from Kalamazoo. Prob not as much as Florida, but i would consider that thought false. We often have uncomfortable nighttime temps with high humidy that make sleeping tough without air. This may drop the further north you get and if you are willing to "rough it"
