hello from milwaukee,wi

have been camping since the 80's. started out to see if it was what we liked. began with 2 person tent, here and there, then off to Sturgis, NC on motorcycles. in our younger days then a popup with grand kids now we are getting a TT come spring. time is going by so slowly till then. like looking at the school clock. looking forward to being part of the group.

Welcome to the Forum, enjoy the time waiting. It will come, but I do remember the waiting with the excitement of getting our first Motorhome 5 months ago.

Welcome, strek! We're practically neighbors, and our paths seem eerily similar. Sounds like we're a few years ahead of you on it, though. But Sturgis NC? Never been to that one... Only the one in South Dakota

Welcome from Appleton, WI. Wife and I went through that last year, however we bought our fully loaded pop up in the fall and had to fantasize for seven months before finally getting out. It was worth the wait and we suffered only from our unusually short summer, as you are probably aware, which required cancelling two planned outings. We stayed mostly at state campgrounds since being retired we can easily get reservations during the week. We haven't yet tried bringing along any grandkids but that could happen this next summer.
