Hello from Mississippi

I pick up my new Geo Pro 19FBS on Tuesday. Loading up and headed to the Ozarks on Weds for my first trip. Going Trout Fishing on a couple of rivers there. Can’t wait to get going.

Welcome from South Georgia. Congrats on your Geo and enjoy the fishing. It sounds like fun there, it should be better there than here. Pretty hot yet and they go deep really early. What kind in particular are you going for? Or just goin' fishin'?

Hoping to catch some Rainbow Trout. This river also has small mouth bass and Walleye so really just going fishing.

Welcome From Ellisville.

We are headed to the Ozarks a little later this year, but headed up to Gatlinburg in October for a week. We have made several short trips so this will be our longest one yet. Where do you guys plan to stay?

Just returned from my trip to the Ozarks. Had a good time and the trailer was everything I hoped it would be. First night stopped in Hardy, Akansas and stayed at the Hardy RV Park. It's ok for a one night stop, but wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay. There is a railroad crossing right next door and trains pass every hour or so all night long.

Ended up staying at a place called the Tradewinds RV Park which is about 6 miles outside of Montauk State Park in south Missouri. Not a fancy place but it was clean and the people were nice. Next time I go, I will plan more in advance and make reservations for one of the state parks.

Glad you had a good time and it's lived up to your expectations. For us, we have to plan out all the bigger stuff. Others just like to free style everything. Ok, I have to ask, how did you do fishing?

Sorry it took a while to reply. Work keeps interfering. The fishing was pretty good. In a couple of days, caught about a dozen rainbow trout and 6 small small mouths and one keeper sized small mouth. Already planning another trip in October.

Great EHT61. As I've heard, the worst day fishing is better than the best day at work. Have a good next trip. The end of Oct I'm heading to AZ for the winter and will get in some fishing there too. Have a good one.
