It's more common than you would think.
When it comes to dealing with poor, some have adverse reactions.

While I don't think that's necessary in an RV, it's common in many parts of the world to avoid plumbing problems. With a covered trash can, it's not a problem. Just wrap it up in paper.

In many parts of the world no toilet paper at all is used. There might be a hose hanging near whatever passes for a toilet. A primitive bidet---sort of.
FWIW, toilet paper manufactured in this country is designedvto dissolve so it's not a problem for septic systems and municipal waste treatment plants.
People who have problems with black tanks are more likely being stingy with flushing water than because of toilet paper.
Been using whatever is used in house since my first TT in 1972 and even boats before that. Not a single problem with plugging.

That’s what I figured. I told my wife we won’t be using those wet wipes she likes so much though. They don’t work for septic tanks either, and even municipal sewer guys hate them.

I love wet wipes, a clean bottom is a happy bottom! NEVER flush those things, even if they say they can be. (A plumber on the forum once referred to them as 'money balls'. He makes a good chunk of change every time they clog things up.) Just get a little bathroom trash can with the closing lid, I have a cute little pedal can. I never smell anything bad, and I have a nose like a freaking bear.

Being involved with municipal infrastructure for 30+ years, I can tell you that the wet wipes that sold by the ton during the pandemic, are the bane of every sewer department's existence. The fact that most say "flushable" only means that they can go down the toilet. Once they are in the system they get hung up on any edge in the piping, pumping and treatment systems and exponentially increase the labor and cost of keeping a sewer system operating, mainly because they don't tear or degrade.

Yeah, I’ve heard sewer guys hate them. On a different note, I installed the RAS on my truck today seems like a great quality item. Drove around with my truck and it seems like the jounce is gone. I’ll see how it performs under load on Tuesday. That’s our revised pickup date on the camper since we had to postpone it.

Okay, she’s home and parked in the driveway! [emoji16] I went through the entire checklist for PDI and I didn’t find anything except a tiny misalignment of the sliding door. We’re not going to worry about it because they would have to drill a hole in the floor about an 1/8” to move the door guide. I’m not worried about that much. I’ll post pics later, I spent 3 1/2 hours in the sun going over this thing with a fine tooth comb. I’m wiped out!

Congratulations! It is indeed a hot day to be doing a PDI, but well worth it. Best of luck with your new camper!

Forget cutting the grass. There’s more important things to do. Like camping!

We’re getting a landscaper to put in a gravel pad next to the driveway and put it there for now. We’re trying to finish up some things and sell our house soon, so that’s the most we want to do at this house.

I’ve got another question if anyone has any advice. My trailer is prepped for a slide topper. Is this a worthwhile addition or should I not get one? I hear about leaves and junk on the slide roof, do these toppers really work?

Welcome to the forum from SNJ!
I would definitely invest in slide toppers…

I recommend slide toppers.
