Hello from NorCal

Hi! Today, we purchased a 2017 Rockwood Windjammer 3006WK. We look forward to picking it up on Saturday. We have owned a trailer since 2008, but needed one with a separate room for our teenage daughter, and really liked the 3006WK floorplan. We look forward to many years of camping in this trailer, and will be visiting this forum whenever we have questions.

Welcome and congrats from a NorCal 2016 3006WK owner. Great choice, OK, I am a little biased. We are full timing in ours right now. Not sure how much they have changed but the first thing I would do, or maybe before you pick it up, have them put on some good tires. We are on our 3rd and hopefully our last set for a long time. Went with GY Endurance because couldn't get Maxxis soon enough. Our WJ came with Load Range D as stock and I think it should have Load Range E. Other than the tires, there has been a hand full of small issues that hasn't kept us off the road, so we are still happy with the WJ.

Oh and one other thing, if you are going to be in 90+ temps with humidity, (i.e. Saint Louis, MO in July... ), I hope you got the 50 amp service and 2nd AC. I sure wish we did. Even without the 2nd AC, the 50 amp service allows you to not have to worry about power management of appliances.
