Thumbs up Hello from Ontario

I just found the site. Last year I decided to move up from a pop up. Puchased a '09 Rockwood 2106 Mini-Lite last Sept'.

My 1st trip w/ it will be to Algonquin Provincial Park next month. I'll also be heading to Clermont IN on the Labour Day weekend for the US Nationals (NHRA drag racing).

Ontario newbie

Welcome to the site. You will find lots of interesting information and lots of willing helpers with any problems you may encounter. This is the site I enjoy most so I'm always on here browsing even if I'm not looking for anything in particular. Where in Ontario is home? We are in Stratford so maybe we will bump into each other some time at a campground. We also like Algonquin but now that we are retired we are able to get a little farther afield or so we hope.....Old Guys

moving to Appsley

I know where Apsley is as I have stopped in there a couple of times for a short break on my way to visit friends who live between Schutt and Palmer Rapids a little farther north. Hope you like it there. It is a nice little town just off the main road (probably a bypass when we all decided we didn't have time to slow down for small towns in our rush to get somewhere quiet) and in a beautiful area of the province. Maybe we all need to slow down and spend some time in these oasis of quiet on our backroads again. You will be in the middle of some of our prime camping areas, so happy camping and enjoy your trailer. Old Guys

Love the area around Algonquin Park and especially enjoyed the lumber industry museum and trail. Have fun!

Thumbs up

I spent last week @ Mew Lake campground in Algonquin. Did quite a bit of hiking & a bit of mountain biking. Everything worked OK w/ the trailer so I should be good to go for the rest of the summer.

Great

Good to hear. We spent the week just relaxing at Sandbanks Prov. Park near Picton. There was a trailer just like yours in the other half of our campground and it made me wonder how you guys were making out. Old Guys
