Hello from Orange Juice land

First timer to FRF and checking the water...
Next door the Orange Juice Co. is starting to send
"pre-chilled" OJ North if the pipes don't freeze.
My 03 Sierra 5th wheel is very Happy.

Hello and to FRF. It's a great place to visit and learn from some very intelligent, knowledgeable people. Have a question? There's plenty of people here that share their knowledge, experiences and some great recipes. Glad to have you with us.

Come on SPRINGTIME!!!

Hello-
I am in Florida as well, originally from NY so this cold weather is just 'brisk' to me, I love it, but some of the natives think its the frozen tundra. We are taking the kids (teens) to Key West with our camper for the spring school break in April, and hoping for nice weather.

Keys in April

I live in Jacksonville, and have been to the keys several times- and we found that April is the perfect time to visit there! The water is still cool, but not too cold, the no-seeums-(sand gnats for you northerners....or "flying teeth")are not around yet, and it's not unbearably hot. There are several nice state parks there, as well. We like Bahia Honda, because of it's proximity to key west, and if you have a boat, they have a full service marina there on site. We went in July 2 years ago, and the bugs were FIERCE, the water was like a hot bath, and the weather in the 90's! Probably won't do that again!
Have fun, and good luck on your trip! Randy

Yeah, remember - we can't write our names in the snow
like those other guys up north.

Our first camping trip was last year 4th July near Key West. We stayed at the KOA there. We had a great time but it was super hot. This time we are staying at Boyds and are hoping its not as hot!

I am originally from Lawrence, my husband from East Quogue both on Long Island, and after about 10 years of living in East Quogue, we moved to New Windsor, in Orange Co. Been in Florida for about 4 years. Quite a difference in weather and I agree, its been cold in Florida lately but I am enjoying it!

Temperture is relative to RV --- If you don't like it - move. It's more fun that way, and a lot of new ideas.
I have at least 2 years planned - if the price of fuel can be reasonable.
