Hello from Pennsylvania

Hi, I'm Mike I'm from south central PA. Im married with 2 girls, 3 and 6. I grew up camping with my grandparents. We bought our first travel trailer, a Coachmen Freedom Express 29BH in 2014. We had to trade that in on a huge mistake of a camper, a Cruiser RV MPG 3100BH in 2016 because we needed more room with the birth of our second child. While the Cruiser was a nice trailer, it had cooling problems. The dealer and the manufacturer did try to do right and installed a 2nd a/c unit in the bunkhouse and converted the trailer to 50 amp all at no cost to me. We just sold that and bought a Coachmen Chaparral 392MBL. Hopefully we will keep this one for more than a couple years lol.

Hello from Western PA. I hope you get to enjoy camping with your girls for a long time. They might like Rickets Glen SP near Wilkes Barre. It has numerous waterfalls along a circular hike. I will warn you, there is ~600' elevation change on the hike.

Ive been to Ricketts Glen. Its beautiful up there. Hickory Run State Park area also has some good waterfalls too. I want to take them to Potter County sometime. I love it up there.

Thumbs up Welcome from Pennsylvania

Hi! We're from south central Pa, too. You mentioned that you'd like to go to Potter Co. sometime...if and when you do, check out Sinnemahoning State Park. It's a small campground but there are bike trails, fishing, eagles, elk...lots of nature there. We host at the campground sometimes.
