A keypad lock would literally be a life changer for us.
Unless installed at factory, the manufacturers are not likely accurate enough for you to provide one size fits all, or even most..

You are right, our handles are designed to "one size fits most" specifications. For the most part our systems fit well on most models. We do offer a vinyl backing sticker to correct the what you are describing. Occasionally our handle doesn't cover paint or decal gaps and this backing can be place between the trailer and the handle to cover this type of area. These can be found here:

For your daughter's use you might consider our Vi3 Keyless System. The keypad is separate from the handle and can be placed where it would be the most convenient for her to access. Many customers with varying needs have found this a helpful accommodation.

Also, I'm not exactly clear on your suggestions for varying the pin lengths. We are always open to feedback that helps us improve our product. I'd love to have a little more information on what your need is there.
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave feedback and suggestions for us. I'm happy to help you out with any further questions.
