Hello from Solvang, CA

Hi. My husband and I are new here. We owned and loved our Roadtrek for almost ten years before we up sized to our new beautiful Sunseeker MBS 2400W. We're loving the extra room afforded by the full side slideout and we've already enjoyed several outings including some with our small grandchildren. We have owned this RV since July and we are still learning some of its nuances. We have specific questions we hope to find answers to here. Thanks, Robin

Welcome to FRF!
We spent lots of time in Solvang and the Santa Ynez Valley, when we lived in Ventura County.

This Cajun from Baton Rouge (originally Lafourche Parish) also welcomes you. How is Solvang in February and March. The DW and I were there about fifteen years ago. Nice place. We are headed to Watsonville CA shortly and was thing of staying there a few days.

We stayed at Flying Flags with our Boy Scout troop from Simi Valley. That was 20 years ago. Now our go-to place is Pinecrest, CA just 30 minutes up the road from home.

Hi. It's almost always nice in Solvang and the Santa Ynez Valley. After several years of drought, we are finally getting much needed rain. The El Niño is just starting to affect us. Can't say what this year will bring but know it will be beautiful here and the wine is always great! Best wishes with your plans, Robin

Hi Brdeee! We spent a couple of years back in the early 70's in the Santa Ynez Valley, and I am certain we will point our new SunSeeker out that way in the next year. While we were there we picked up on the art of making aebelskiver (spherical pancakes)... Perhaps the pan will be packed so we can share in the Danish Days celebrations.

Happy Trails!
