There is a bit of a learning curve when you change from tent camping to trailer camping, but it's not difficult. This is a great time to camp in south Texas. You'll find lots of 'snowbirds' in campsites from now til March/April.
If you have any questions, just ask.

Welcome to the forum from another Texan.

Welcome. We are in the DFW area now for CHRISTmas with family but will be headed to the Texas Valley after. We will be in the Harlingen and San Benito area for winter. 21 days each at several different parks. So far we have reservations until late March

We are full timers that used to tent camp as well.
