Hello From Southern California

My wife and I just bought our 3rd trailer, a 2020 Rockwood Roo 233S. We'll be traveling to pick it up this weekend. Upgrading from our 2003 Jayco Kiwi 23D. Hopefully we'll be able to find somewhere for the maiden test run soon, but everything seems to be closed around us here in SoCal.

Take a look at Solvang up north a bit.

I got a reservation for early July. I called about 2 weeks ago and we are still good. Also 4th of July at Anahiem rv park so we can visit relatives and the city I grew up in Norwalk.

Hi and welcome to FRF, from a former resident of SoCal and the Inland Empire and a former 10 year Roo owner.
Be sure to check out the Roo/Shamrock sub-forum in the Hybrids section of the Forum.
Tons of 233S owners there for support and mod ideas.
Also, since you are in SoCal, be sure to get some Popup Gizmos and Reflectix for the tent ends.

Our old Jayco has pop-outs as well, so we've looked into the pop-up gizmos before, just never ordered them. I think we'll probably get them for this one, as I want to keep it as new as possible for as long as possible. Probably have to get the Super High Wind version, as I can't imagine either of the other ones surviving most anywhere in socal. I'm embarrassed to admit i never thought of the Reflectix before. That's a great idea. Thanks!

Thanks for the reminder. We'll probably be overexcited and itching to get it on the road and back home. Instead of a one day turnaround, we decided to go up the night before, so we can get there early the next morning and not be rushed.

Was that before it was Eastvale? My brother and his family used to live in what is now Centennial, there "near" Denver.
