Hello from southwest Louisiana!

We are the Bertrand's, Terry and Melody. We just bought our very first rv, a class c, 2018 Forester 3011 DSF. We have 5 kids that are all grown except the two youngest, a junior in high school and a freshman in college. Whew! We are on the tail end of kids but so looking forward to the times when we can take off for long weekends. We have several fur babies, a 9 month old golden retriever and two geriatric long-haired dachshunds. I hope our rv can survive the Golden. She is so sweet but a chewer!! I'm really excited about the layout of our rv because I think it will afford me the counter space I crave for all the cooking we love to do. My husband is not a huge fan of the big RV parks bc he really likes to be out in nature so I think we will mostly be camping in state and national parks...maybe one day graduating up to boondocking on BLM lands perhaps!

We are generally very friendly and sociable people and I can't to meet all the wonderful campers out there. If they are anything like the nice and helpful people in this forum it should be great [emoji4]

It's the cobalt outside with rustic cherry and cobblestone interior finishes. They didn't have any of the other outside color on the lot. We love it too but have really just been playing with it. Taking it for the first quick trip tomorrow!. So excited!
