Hello from Sugar Land, TX

Our family has rented RVs 3 times now and our last trip this past weekend to the Frio River has convinced us that we really want to purchase our own. We have 5 kids and they have loved camping every time we have gone.
We had to cancel a couple of non-camping trips recently due to the madness going on so we’re convinced that RVing is the way to go for get-always for, at least, the near future. We’ve got 5 years before the 4 oldest ones go off to college so we felt it’s now or never.
Plus being outdoors gets them away from their screens, which is always a good thing.
We’re looking at a 2021 FR Vibe 26bh used but it was purchased new in April and only took 1 trip of 500 miles. We plan to make an offer of $37k. Any thoughts on whether that’s a good/fair deal?

Why not keep renting? My son goes on 4-5 RV trips a year of 4 days duration, mainly to Glamis dunes. It is much cheaper and easier to rent an RV. No maint, no storage fees, no cleanup, no insurance, no pmt. Something to consider.

IMHO, I wouldn't pay that much for a used unit. You won't get the factory warranty since it's used and even with the current high RV prices, that price is definitely not a deal.

Welcome to the forum. I'd be looking else where for a cheaper price. Later RJD
